Beach of Coll Baix

You are still looking for a very special place for your next yacht holiday on Mallorca? Then this is the place for you. As a yacht charter of the Baleares we can say again and again with joy that despite the tourism rush there are still impressive places far away from all the hustle and bustle. They are corners that only very few know and therefore offer peace and privacy. And there are more than we thought. In the following we show you with the dreamlike Playa Coll Baix just such a small paradise.

Playa Coll Baix is a small pebble bay on the north coast of the Spanish Balearic island Mallorca, protected by green cliffs. More precisely, it is located in the northeast of the municipality Alcúdia near the Cap de Menorca on the peninsula Victòria. It is only 50 metres wide and 220 metres long, but you will never experience it overcrowded. On the contrary, due to its remoteness and its relatively long and difficult hiking trail, only a few tourists get lost here. So you are almost always undisturbed and can enjoy the picturesque surroundings and the beach all by yourself. Furthermore, it offers crystal clear, turquoise water that invites you to swim.  We especially like the fact that the lonely beach made of white pebbles is located in the middle of the nature reserve Àrea natural d'especial interès and is therefore completely puristically natural.

One has to anchor at a certain distance from the shore, as otherwise, the depth would not be sufficient. At about five metres you can anchor on rocks and sand. This beach is the first available refuge between Cap des Pinar and the wild Cap de Menorca.  4.8 nautical miles away is Port d'Alcúdia.

Due to its location in the nature reserve, the beach is completely untouched and therefore there are no services such as sunbeds and parasols to rent. There are also no buildings of any kind.
